  1. Wow Nick, overreacting much?
Even if the Jays don't end up not signing Tucker, it's not doomsday. Even if Red Sox signs Bo and Yanks resigns Bellinger. Jays would still be top 2 teams in the AL.

  2. If only BO was not on free agent the Blue Jays would have sign Tucker, Bregman or Bellinger. The Jays couldn't move because of freaking Bo. Leave Bichette to another club. stop wasting your time with this Bo. Injury prone guy. Go get Tucker and Bellinger.

  3. Remember the Blue Jays have the most possible information on Bo's health, especially his knees.

I am sure that has a lot to do with the lack of urgency in wanting to sign him.

  4. Bo Needs to Take a Short Term Team friendly Deal and So would Tucker for this to work…. I mean its a win on all sides and ya someone mentioned all those players that will lose playing time, forget that springer is not that guy anymore we all seen old heads have a good season and fall off again , I mean Clement is old in terms of what he is sure he was good for a season but how many good 1 seasons have we seen aka Davis shneider , Bo's been consistent I'd take him over any of the other dudes who would lose playing time, we will find more bench help if need be…

  5. You know, if Bo is all that powerful an opponent, then sign him! If he is all that poor a defender, we should love to meet him in Boston or NY. I'm growing weary of the fear some have.

  6. If Tucker goes to a team outside the Jays, would not the Jays consider Cody Bellinger as a secondary option? And if all other teams are offering Bo a short term deal, why can't the Jays offer the same (short-term only)?
Everything depends on which teams have an agreements in place first – re: Mets or LAD with Bellinger, Philly, Boston/NYY with Bo, etc.

  7. The current lineup is WORSE than last year. If I can choose, I'd go with Jays WS lineup than current one without Bo. We have to sign at least one more big bat like Bo/Tucker/Belli to call this off season a success.
