About Last Night..

OK Guys, it’s time to take a look at the game last night between the Montreal Canadiens and the Detroit Red Wings. The Wings win this game by a score of 4-0, and shutout the Montreal Canadiens.. They are now the top team in the Atlantic Division after this win, and in today’s video I’m going to break this one down and talk about what went wrong for the Habs!

  1. Habs will need to be able to beat strong teams, i.e. Detroit and Colorado. Last night, Red wings shut down the Habs with very strong defense…

  2. If they don't absolutely destroy Vancouver next game I'm gonna start to worry. Leafs are picking up, Sabres still playing well… Can't afford to play like this again

  3. As well as Fowler has done, Its time to send him back to Laval. Three goalie rotation is not good for anyone. Monty and Dobes need to get back to alternating . FFS Dobes hasnt played since Dec.21.

  4. Not a ton of shots but good goalie duel. Two flubs by Fowler – turnover from behind the net, a la Monty (no goal though) and a bad bounce off the back boards. Very solid game though, some good stops. Gibson was the difference for the Wings, stopped everything slung his way. Not the best game from the Habs defense but it happens people. Onwards and upwards 👍

  5. Leafs will crush the Habs come playoff’s, we have the best goal scorer in the league , top defensive corps and goaltending is undeniably 10 folds better than Montreals pylons.

  6. No hate towards the Habs. I am a Habs fan by family loyalty. However, if Denault isn't winning faceoffs… his production is WAY down this season… why did the Habs spend assets on him?

  7. That game highlighted the Canadiens Achilles heel. They are exciting to watch 'offensively' and painful to watch 'defensively' – especially against a good two-way team. It is why they will not reach the championship rounds. It hurts to say it. I'm a Canadiens fan.

  8. A note to Marty, be a fuckig coach, jesus, talk about having no answer for Detroit, at least pretend you know what your doing there. Change up the fucking lines, what did you see last night that made you think, hmm this game is going well. But no, St. Louis does nothing. Last nights game really highlighted Montreal's shortcoming and there are alot.

  9. Lesson learned. Wings have Edvinsson 6'.6", Chiarot 6'3" and Seider 6'2" as their main 3 d-men. Not much time by us spent in the slot. Gibson saw everything.

  10. The Wings are top in the league for least penalty minutes. The Habs needed to be more disciplined when playing a stingy team like them. They never let anything get to them, mindset dictated the game.

  11. Honestly this loss does not even bother me. Yes bad penalties, but that first lucky bounce of the glass onto Raymond's stick is what turned it around in my opinion.
Dobson was phenomenal last game, as was Xhekaj. Onto the next one!

  12. Wings fan here, that game was probably the best 60 minutes Detroit has put up in years. Most other nights it would have been a much closer game. Looking forward to hating yall as this is going to be a great rivalry for a long time

  13. We’ve been hot for a minute and eventually we were gonna get a loss! Wings are solid this year but I’m not discouraged! Habs are killing it and outperforming so I ain’t worried! Good on Fowler for killing it!
