[Sean Hjelle’s got some effed up issues going on alright](https://old.reddit.com/r/baseball/comments/1lh0607/san_francisco_giants_sean_hjelles_wifes_most/), it really sucks that NPB teams keep signing these POS or controversial individuals like Roberto Osuna (DV), Hotaka Yamakawa (sexual assault), Trevor Bauer (wasn’t re-signed at least), and previously that rapist Josh Lueke. Some NPB teams in the previous years even got eyes on wanting to sign Julio Urias after his DV incident.
He always looks likes someone who would be a dominating pitcher but he just…isn’t. I’m just jonesing for another Randy Johnson I guess
The average height for males in Japan is about 3 inches shorter than in the US so maybe he will look even more imposing over there, like if there was a 7’2 pitcher over here.
I’m pretty sure 18″ of that height is in his neck
He is going to seriously stick out in Japan
The 6’11 Giant doesn’t even fit in the thumbnail lol
Hes not gonna fit through ANY doorways over there lol
This guy got issue with his ex wife right?
Japan loves jelly
Giants fan here. He doesn’t have enough different pitches and doesn’t throw as fast as you’d expect someone that tall to throw.
What’s stopping him from copying Randy Johnson’s mechanics, I would try it
He always did good against us. Was surprised to see him not on the giants
Losing Hjelle and Tyler Rogers means the Giants may just have a mundane bullpen again
No longer a Giant but still a giant
Shame. I liked his Easter card in mlb the show
Something something about him leaving his wife and family on the Mother’s Day because he is a cheater or whatever.
I guess it’s a good reason to go to Japan if he abandoned your own family
Ok, you look at the Japanese national team and you have Ohtani & Darvish towering over everyone. Now Hjele. I hope he can at least find a mattress long enough for him.
