This lineup as it is now is definitely suspect, not to mention our starting rotation with the exception of McLean is a joke, unreliable and constantly getting hurt, in my opinion this definitely not a playoff team.

So Soto needs another left handed power bat for protection? This team is going downhill, you didn't let the RBI leader in All of MLB since 2019 walk and except to be a better team. That player was a power right-handed bat perfect protection for Soto. Hence why Soto had his best offensive season. Paying 10 years for Tucker who is a downgrade from Pete Alonso is ridiculous. Cody Bellinger is even worse if the Yankees don't want him back with that short right field porch.
They not making the playoffs
Bellinger hit 240 on the road last year big difference and had bad seasons with the dodgers rather have Tucker

This team is nowhere near playoff contention You lost keep players like Pete Alonso this team needs a lot and they're more like a rebuilding team already they need a left fielder their center fielder isn't ready yet who knows who's playing third base if it's baty The first baseman is like a fluke they need at least two to three aces and your bullpen is still not finished You need to reliable closer I'm sorry it's not Devin Williams So if you're asking if this team is a playoff team hell no when they broke the core they are in a rebuilding stage right now that sets him back another five more years I don't see them going to the playoffs in the next 5 years and that's the truth unless turns has something up his sleeves I don't see anything they need to bring the money down and that's what they're doing That's why they cut the core I think they should have kept Pete Alonso and find someone to protect them but they didn't do that I think Stearns did not like Pete Alonso

They are not a playoff team they need an outfielder and a SP an ace. They need to stop screwing around and sign free agent E. Suarez for either DH or 1st base sure he strikes out a lot but but he can change the game on one swing like Pete did and they need some behind Soto to scare the opposition. They need to either sign Bader or trade for Roberts but not overpay. They should not rush Benge if they do they may ruin his growth progress as a hitter.
