Paredes and Bryce for Jarren Duran and a pick.
Isaac would not like that trade. He likes playing for Houston and how close it is to his hometown.
The Astros have had a really good off-season . . . perhaps the best in years. I really hop Crane and Dana do not screw it up by trading Isaac Paredes, who was the team's best hitter last year before injury. BTW, I really wish all would stop saying there are not enough spots for all these guys. Yes, there is. Yordan plays in left field. It only makes sense because he wants to and his numbers are better when he fields. Altuve to second. Now rotate the DH with all your players. Plus, we all know that one of these guys will be injured by April. Relax everyone. Do not do anything rash and regret it later.
I like Paredes, but the Astros need players. If they trade him, I hope they get a haul like they did for Tucker. I have to wonder if Paredes hamstring is healed…or will he need surgery in the near future?
I have no sympathy for Boston. They traded away a fan-favorite player to placate a mercenary. Just desserts.

A lot of Astros fans assume that a player dreams of being an Astro. Bregman is from New Mexico and his grandpa worked for the Yankees. Bregman has no ties to Houston or the state of Texas. It's the same story for Tucker. Tucker is from Florida. He has no ties to Texas. Players know they'll have a certain number of years to play. They are trying to make as much money as they can while they can get it. I have no hard feelings when a player leaves the Astros. I root for the Astros and whoever is wearing an Astros uniform. I just hope that they can find a few players that improve the team. The Astros bring up pitchers that help the team, but most of the position players in AA and AAA are mediocre at best. The Astros need to build up the minors.
Correa can play 3rd…..for the Red Sox. Please keep Paredes.
It makes no sense to trade Walker. We have to have a 1B. Can you trade Walker and get a 1B who can hit 27HR and 90RBI? How can you trade your top RBI and HR hitter and not get the same performance from his replacement?
If I could get a boat load of good prospects I'd trade Pena. He's not going to resign or he'd already done it.
For Marcelo Mayer and a starter or reliever, Houston should listen. Anything less just keep paredes he’s a good anchor in your lineup.
Boston will grab arenado. Issac isn't going anywhere unless Boston offers Payton Tolle.
Issac is the type of batter that can protect Yordon… Speed in front of Yordon and Issac will be very very fruitful.
