Looks like it comes down to us or the New York Giants.

Realistically, we all know he’s interested because of Jaxson Dart. I would still prefer Klint over John, I only say that just because he seems to have a lot of requirements on coaching the next team.

He wants say in who he picks as GM though and Schoen is still in New York
Is this a reliable source?
If this reporting is true it indicates 1) the team will not be looking to blow up the roster and 2) that he has confidence in the QB situation
He saw what an aging QB coming off a torn achilles got paid and thought to himself can you imagine how big a bag they’ll offer me.
What’s the infatuation with Klint Kubiak?
I also do think this is going to change fairly quickly if they do end up firing Matt LaFleur.
I agree. Harbaugh has experience, but we do see coaches begin to age out. Kubiak at least has experience calling plays. If Harbaugh does choose good coordinators. Also, people in Baltimore thought Harbaugh was sometimes too loyal to assistants, like with Greg Roman (though he did eventually replace him). I think they wanted him to make changes again, probably with his DC this time, but he may have resisted. With the control he wants that night not be good. I have read mixed things about how the players felt about him. You don’t need the players to live you, but you have to get through to them enough that they respect you and believe in your coaching.
It’s speculation.
kinda feel like its been New York this whole time, makes the most sense for Harbaugh and New York tbh

If he brings Monken I’m in. They were solid the previous 3 years.
Something was off this year, Lamar’s injuries and motivation being tops.
I dont want harbaugh. Hes the old nfl. I want newer coach and sysem that isnt going to stick to outdated strategy out of tradition.
Stop it.
I don’t think he is a great coach he has had the best qb in the league for years now and constantly has come up short. Not sold this would be great
Let’s go Big Dog
Not sure how I feel about it. Every time I have an opinion on the Falcons I end up looking dumb. I don’t really like it so that probably means it’s a great fucking idea.
Same give me a offense minded coach to develop a young qb
Yes please
Giants seem pretty committed to Joe Schoen as their GM.
I guess we’ll see how much Harbaugh wants Chad Alexander as his GM.
His requirements are appropriate. The coach should have say over the players to make the team work. It will, of course, be collaborative with the financial stuff with the GM.
It does make sense he’d want to be in the NFC. Him and his brother have both spoken about limiting the amount their teams play each other.
I so hope it’s the Falcons. He’s a sure bet and would be good for Matt Ryan’s development. Kubiak might be great and I’d be excited to get him. The way the NFL wash, rinse, repeat cycle works it is much more likely he’s a 3 year experiment.
Harbaugh seems to need a stud OC, DC, had a 2 time MVP QB & I swear got knocked out of playoffs early the past few seasons.
He’s not going to have Todd Monken as OC & Mike Macdonald as DC here. He will have a washed Kirk Cousins & injury prone MPJ to work with at QB.
I mean winning seasons & early playoff exits are FAR better than what we’ve had but I’m hungry for the franchise to bring a Lombardi home.
I am bewildered by this outpouring of disdain for a guy who has won 61% of his games, including 13 playoff wins and a SB title and an outcrying of support for a guy who managed to get Baker Mayfield to win a playoff game one time and 4 out of 6 years won 8 games or less. Y’all are completely out to lunch on this one.
I’ll take him and hopefully OC monken comes with him. Then hopefully we get a quarterback. I’m not a penix fan gets hurt too much can’t play under center. Can’t read defenses and I know I’m a fan, but I truly believe we have the players to win.
At the end of the day, he’s a better coach than Raheem.
Damn, Jaylinn Hawkins is starting on the Pats? Feel like we drafted him so long ago and he played with Decoud or something.
He is a perineal playoff team in the nfc south. With the giants he is getting the eagles scraps for the next few years. If thats the case, I put the Falcons above the Giants if he is going for legacy.
I wondered if he will come to Falcons given the front office structure the Falcons have and the rumoured requests he made to teams.
