  2. Have you met this fan base? 2 losses in a week and it’s time to fire Udoka and trade everyone. With Jalen Green out of the picture it appears that Jabari is the new punching bag/scapegoat for this season.

    I get it, the KD trade made everyone think championship now or bust, but we really need to take a step back and look at where this team has come from in the last 5 years and be grateful that we’re competing again instead of hitting the panic button after every single loss. Not to mention all the doomers in last year’s playoffs who acted like they were oblivious to the fact that it was a lot of guys first ever playoff experience.

Criticizing a player, coach or the entire team doesn’t mean you are not supporting them. Fire everyone is not it but you can still criticize while supporting. Its called constructive criticisim

  6. I’m honestly over Ime more than anything else. As long as everyone is trying their best and taking accountability I’ll always root for this team

  10. 94-95 Rockets lost 6 in a row at one point and finished in the 6th seed.   Just sayin.  Stay calm, carry on. Go Rockets!  

  11. A lot of fans had high expectations, understandably, but dont forget this is the first season with KD and without DB who was THE culture guy of the team. The team has also been without Alpi who has been acting floor general with no true starting PG. The team isnt at full strength and has growing pains to work through. This team will be fine. Just turn off the TV and avoid the internet after bad games for a day if you’re a doomer.

  12. I appreciate this post. Especially for a dude like Jabari who has been rock solid all season. Hating the guy isn’t helping him build his confidence back up. He’s had a few bad games and a ton of great ones.

    But we’re still allowed to point obvious criticisms. I don’t blame Bari one bit for his slump, shit happens and losing streaks happen but when it’s due to the same offense issues from last season then you can question it. That’s part of being a fan, don’t be blind to the issues. Be loyal but also be able to criticize

  17. Nah, this team sucks. It’s poorly constructed and poorly coached. They completely shit the bed during the part of the schedule where they should have feasted. I guarantee you that this isn’t the lowest point they’ll reach this season. This team will be .500 by the all star break, book it.

  18. I’m trying. This franchise had done lot of stuff I don’t like. I don’t really have a favorite player anymore. Not like I can support different team easily. I’ll probably quit NBA when I can’t take it anymore.

  19. We’ve played 36 games so far, 23 of which have been away. Since December it’s 6 home games and 11 road games. Travel is a given in sports but we haven’t really had a stretch of home games. I’m sure the guys are tired from being on the road constantly and the injuries certainly aren’t helping. I think we’ll see the guys rejuvenated during this next 5 game home stint. I still genuinely see us winning 50+ games.

  27. Around this time last season we had Fred going out and for almost a month had to get by with Thompson and Green taking turns playing the point. Somehow we still managed to make it to the second seed. This season will be tougher since Fred ain’t coming back at all but we have talent and skilled group we can recover with the right mentality and efforts
