MLB Pipeline has named Nolan McLean the #1 RHP prospect in all of baseball. He made his MLB debut in 2025, posting a 2.06 ERA across his first 8 starts. He joined the likes of Dwight Gooden and Tom Seaver, two of the greatest pitchers in Mets history, with some of his first-year stats.

His rise has been astonishing. Just a few years ago he was a two way guy that was the maybe #10 pitcher in the org? Now he’s the number one pitching prospect in the game. Awesome.
Between McLean in the third round and Tong in the second round seems like Eppler was pretty good at drafting.
