Our wonderful organist announced today that he is returning for his 18th season with the Braves!

I feel like he’s already announced this or am I just remembering one of the other 17 times he’s made this announcement?
I love having the game on and hearing the organist play the away team walk up music, identifying the song, and then figuring out the significance, followed by the chuckle.
His return is as sure as Jesse Chavez’s used to be, but it’s still a huge relief to officially see it

I’ve heard from a mutual friend who knows him and he gets paid so little apparently. Based on what they told me I don’t know why he even wants the job lol

Did more ever come out about all the restrictions he had last year? Like not being able to talk about walkup songs on social media?
Matthew Kaminski is my favorite Brave and has been for years. If I was a Braves hitter, I’d insist on Matthew playing my walk-up music instead of the recorded clips used by all home team hitters. I’d be strolling to the plate to sweet organ versions of Widespread Panic, Allman Brothers, and Grateful Dead tunes.
