2. Seriously, Grizzard should have never have been promoted to OC. The guy never called a play in his life. Not even in pee wee football. I blame the Bucs for promoting a guy that was not qualified, not Grizzard. Think both Bowles and Licht should be fired for this alone. So stupid to promote this guy to a top NFL position. Idiots.

4. Coaching and decent planning is necessary. Bucs dont hav decant coaching.

5. Call me a conspiracy theorist but I think Grizzard didn't give a fk. When Coen went to Jacksonville he wanted to take Grizzard with him and the Bucs blocked it and promoted Grizzard to be petty. I dont think Grizzard ever wanted to stay

6. I really hate being the guy who defends Bowles. I truly do. But okay … This hire blew chunks. Grizzard was not ready to be an offensive coordinator. But allow me to play devils advocate here. The attempt to keep some continuity for Baker Mayfield and the offense after Liam Cohen left for Jacksonville was applauded last year as the right decision. And honestly, the last two offensive coordinators were promoted to head coach and both of them made the playoffs meaning they weren't bad hires. Let's see how he bounces back with the next offensive coordinator. I'm willing to give him the benefit of the doubt.

   This is obviously a make or break season for Bowles, who has absolutely been the definition of mediocrity as a head coach. With a little bit of urgency and his job on the line hopefully he brings in a more energetic and established hire.
