Thinking the very same thing about signing Tucker now – even for one -…. a person can dream, right?
Bruce Levine made sense. Don’t want to move off of Hoerner because the Cubs lack depth. But, there’s no free agent closers left, so if they actually feel like addressing their most questionable position left, they’ll have to make a trade. Question marks yet again
Bregman may work for 2026, but that leaves out Hoerner after the 2026 season and probably others reaching free agency after the season ends. Cubs have set high expectations, aiming to be a World Series competitor in 2026.
Bottomline….Bregman deal won't age well!
It would not make any sense to trade Nico, that would be an anti Bregman move
Does Bregman still have the sponsorship from Rubbermaid? Asking for a friend who is a Cubs fan who lustily booed Bregman when a member of the Stros.
A "Game Changer?" Really? I mean, signing Yamamoto and Shohei in the same year was a game changer. But Bregman isn't in the same league, but that's just me. You do you.
Bellinger is better for us then Tucker and way way cheaper. No one wants Tucker 😂😂😂
God these two are terrible Kap and J Hood are way better. And I love cubs content but these two are atrocious.

It will be interesting to see their reaction when Bregman sucks in 2 years.
tucker chokes in the playoffs every year!! f that!
I'm 95% sure Alcantara has to be on 26 man roster this opening day because of service time/contract/whatever. He's the 4th OF, and might as well play to see if he's any good. Seiya will get plenty of DH starts, so have Alcantara in RF. Also a really good CF by Cubs prospect evaluators accounts, so he backs up PCA too.
CHEATER Bregman is a CHEATER !!
What about Teosco Hernandez from the Dodgers…they are looking to trade him.
Belli seemed to be happy he was a Cub, Tucker looked unhappy with the Cubs
A 32 year old player who'll give you .265 and 25 hr? Wow, better get those world series rings fitted now
Massive overpay for a guy who was injured last year and who only had 18 homeruns.
Maybe I’m alone here. I’m not that excited about Bregman. If we resigned Tucker then added Bregman then yeah I’m pumped. But I’m sorry Bregman is not a good as Tucker. Tucker was clearly hurt most of last year. Just look pre injury numbers. He was on an MVP pace. He still finished with a better WAR than Bregman.
