  4. No issues with this. Blackwood is still working his way back and Wedgewood is definitely deserving of an extra day off.

  6. The team needs to control the puck and defend the net front like they did in the CBJ game. They seem to be feeling pretty comfortable with the lines and glad to be at home. Leafs didn’t catch a break because they still have to play the Avs.

  7. I want Trent Miner to shut them out purely because I want to watch the inevitable Steve Dangle meltdown on repeat for a few weeks.

  9. I was at the Saturday game. Miner was great and has definitely earned this opportunity. So glad we have the luxury of being far ahead enough to give Wedgie an extra game to rest mid-season while Blackwood’s still less than 100%.

  12. His confidence has got to be high right now, this is a nice boost getting a 2nd start against a team from the east whose point totals make little difference to us. It makes all the sense in the world. And then maybe as a side benefit we can showcase him a little to the league for the trade deadline. Another nice performance and his stock only goes up.

  20. You know…Rockies have the Rockpile. We have the Woodshed for our regular rotation. I move that we add The Mines. We get to use dynamite to open The Mines. We can throw misbegotten teams into The Mines. Don’t forget the children…they YEARN for The Mines.
