  1. Seal clap should be a staple on this pod cast. All i can say. I would rather low key get Cody B, I am hoping he's so mad at the Yankees that he rage hates signs with the Mets to stick it to them for 3 yrs and high AAV. We got 6 tantalizing and 6 entralled

  2. Mets payroll for LT purposes is $296 million, and Cohen limited it to $310-320 million in his foolish tirade against "idiots" of his own pathetic invention.

No chance the Mets sign Tucker. In any case, he's a 4 fWAR player looking for $400 million, who has never had a 5 fWAR season. He's turning 29, which if you know anything about baseball's aging curve means he's entering his post-prime phase. He cannot stay on the field, and for all his talent has never managed a single 5-win season (Jeff McNeil has two, btw).

  3. I feel like Tucker is most likely going to the Jays, but I think the Mets are definitely second. The Dodgers seem by far the least desperate of the 3, and contract talks have already gone on this long.

  4. Crazy how the Mets were better without Soto it's what made that team different sometimes a superstar is not needed to win. Homegrown talent can win a team a championship but if there's free agents and you have the money doesn't hurt having some of the best on your roster.

  5. Dodgers fan here. Mets would still not get back to even offensively with Tucker. With everything being said and done in regards to run prevention. They did not improve the pitching nor the defense. Getting younger does not make you better so I dont expect the Mets to compete in the East with the Phillies and Braves.

  6. Hey my favorite secret Dodger ladies. No deep response from me today on the content just a appreciation for you two and the great content you continue to bring. On another note: Where do we send Samantha's GF her Dodgers jersey? Think she want a Edwin Diaz? (Too soon? lol). Love your content…. its tantalizing!

  7. Let it be known that the statement “If the Padres win the World Series, I’ll marry you” is code for “Sorry, you’re just not the one and you never will be.” 😂

  8. 29:21 To answer those last 2 questions, I’m a Dodgers fan, and while I’d like them to get Tucker as much as Mets and Blue Jays fans (well, probably most of them) want him for their team, my feeling is that the he’ll sign with the Blue Jays. They’re the only ones who got to meet him in person (their spring training camp is around 30 mins. from where he lives), which still counts for something. But more critically, they’re the ones doing the biggest spending this off season (or Dodgers spending, as many frustrated MLB fans would put it 😄) and I think they’ll outbid the Dodgers and Mets.
