He’s like a kid smiling with all of his teeth. That’s adorable.
Also, I’m Yankee fan and he’s *such* a pain in the ass BUT I’m happy he’ll be on our team in the WBC so he can be a pain in the ass against other countries now!

Good. Definitely need some role players who won’t complain about being stuck on the bench. Should actually try and grab Chandler Simpson as a pinch runner only role.
Japan proved how important that was last tournament when Shuto scored from first (and almost caught up to Ohtani) on Murakami’s double against Mexico.
I FUCKING LOVE THIS 10/10 BENCH PIECE
Finish this team off with Trea Turner, Trout and a 3rd catcher and it’s perfect
Edit: also good job in the roster building to not just collect MVPs and to actually build a team that’s well structured
I like how there are two forms of players joining Team USA:
Good for us! (Judge, Witt, Skenes, etc)
&
Good for that guy! (Clement, Turang, McLean, etc)
It’s a fun mix. Should be a great team.
Perfect choice. Can play almost anywhere.
He will hit 30 singles off the first pitch and you will love it America
