12. The best things the Jays could do is announce they are out on both Tucker and Bo and move on! Neither one of those guys are worth 300 million. Let other teams be saddled with those contracts!

13. Tucker doesn't want to sign with the Jays. He wants longer term with the Dodgers. And barring that, he'll want the Jays to completely overpay or else add in opt-outs so that he can evetually leave for a US based team. Said this back in December, but the Jays were done their signings aside from 2nd and 3rd tier players. When I started hearing the hype of both Bo and Tucker both being signed, that's when I knew there'd be no more. And no, Okamoto is not top tier.

24. Ultimately, I don't think many players want to play and live in Canada. The offer would have to blow his pants off to accept Toronto's offer. This is not to say anything bad about Canada, but more about not having to live and play in a foreign country. Toronto may be better off offering short term, high AAV deals so players aren't looking at having to live in Canada for the next 8 years. They might be more willing to play in Toronto if they know it's only for 3-4 years at a higher amount.
