Not surprising. I doubt there’s a lot of love for the twins organization from the Ryan camp. Guy most likely just wants to do what he needs to do so that way he can look forward to the trade or free agency.

Players skip twins fest for a lot of reasons. it’s January and Minnesota being 2 of them. Plus they are preparing for 9 months of being away from their family – so just let them do what they want. it’s not the end of the world or a sign that he’s on his way out.

They want to pay him $500,000 less than he wants and are going to arbitration over it. Of course he isn’t donating his time to a fan event. Not his problem.
Let the overreactions begin. Everyone knows TwinsFest is the ultimate litmus test of whether or not a player is happy with the organization, wants to play in Minnesota, and will be here long-term!
