How The Spurs Rebuilt

The San Antonio Spurs are currently the second seed in the Western conference and have the third best record in the entire NBA. They have a top 5 player in the league in Victor Wembanyama, a great young supporting cast around him and future assets to improve the roster. It wasn’t long ago though that the Spurs were one of the worst teams in the league. In this video we look at how the Spurs went from the bottom of the NBA to one of the premiere title contenders this season.

  2. I dont think the spurs can win it all this season. I think they need that playoff experience first. Next season will probably be more of a chance. What i am excited for is playoff wemby. If theres one thing ive learned watching him its that if theres a spotlight he wants it all on him. Take opening night for instance. All the buzz was about flaggs debut. I dont think anyone was bringing up wembys return. He goes out and has possibly the best overall performance ive ever seen. The next day no one was talking about flagg and i think thats what wemby wanted.

  9. Guys, the spurs were buildi g a whole brand new medical center. Which San Antonio is already known for its medical center. ( the army's training for medics is in SanAntonio. )

    Makes perfect sense they woauld send Wemby here.

    I love basketball and watching nba but lets be real theres too much mo ey to not have some of it scripted.

    Dallas trades Luka to the number 1 money maker and just so happens to get Cooper. Come on.

  23. The spurs were lucky to get anybody for Kawhi since he only had one year left of his deal and was determined to go back to LA. The LA teams weren't gonna trade for him cause they can wait till the offseason and other teams didn't have the assets and weren't willing to take a risk on a one year rental

  29. This video could have been 30 seconds. 1)1st draft pick – Wemby 2) 4th draft pick Castle 3) 2nd draft pic – Harper. All in a span of 3 years. The Spurs built a contending team by flat out LUCK!

  31. People talk a lot about them having top picks but overlook their scouting. Stephon Castle was projected way lower than 4th overall before the draft
