This episode was so good to see it. The hot takes were very interesting.
You always ignore me on your podcasts.
Thank you, great podcast!
Gonna be a wonderful season!!!!!
Never, never trade Teel! Its obvious he'll be the team leader in stats and leadership.
Fun podcast! Loved having Brooke's energy and the back and forth.
As far as hot takes… I think Teel is going to make the All-Star team as the "one per team" selection, Murakami will hit 40 while batting .230, and Robert Jr. Will have another "tale of two seasons" situation, and will not get traded. I think Colson might regress a little bit under pressure to start the year and then figure things out.
Time to move Sosa, no spot for him on this roster. He's a one dimensional player because of his defense. Possibly move him for outfield depth. Place Grant Taylor as the closer. His ability to get the final three outs will help shutting the door at the end of games. Of course scoring more runs will help this team's inability of losing a ton of one run games a year ago.
Chuck your 100% right that Montgomery didn't get the credit he was due last year. But this is a Cubs town. Now they have signed Bregman and they appear to be serious enough to challenge for the decision. If they find another bat along with a solid closer they'll be a team to reckon with.
