Sullivan on balancing guys wanting to come back from injuries with their ability to make a (positive) impact on the game. They decided to pull Rempe out because his injury was limiting him to the point where he couldn’t play his game which made him ineffective and left him frustrated.

  1. Yea this is something I was thinking about like 5 or 6 games ago. Rempe is an interesting piece if the rest of the line up is deep. They are not. They aren’t even 1 line deep at this point. Then factor in you only have 50% of rempe and why the fuck is he even playing?

  2. Not a fun coaching gig. $6.5M owed to him through 29 – 30 season takes the sting away – though.

  3. If the kid is still hurt what was the big rush to bring him back. He’s not a goal scorer so we aren’t getting that. Let him get better.

  4. But we keep Miller in?

Why are reasons like this only applied to youbgs when older guys clearly affected get to play until basically they want to sit out

  5. I would’ve liked him to clarify a little more regarding Miller. Good follow up on how Rempe wasn’t impacting the game positively as he would have liked, but does he feel Miller is making enough of a positive impact while hurt?

  6. This team sucks. I don’t want to hear any news that isn’t a total rebuild from the front office on down.
