Hey guys, I just got this Bucs hat but have never seen this logo. Anyone have any info about it?

It has a Nike tag with the Bucs flag on the inside

Looks like the old 90’s logo
Look up “Old Tampa Bay Buccaneers font” and that should pop up

Yeah it’s an old Nike hat from around 2000. I can’t remember if it was fitted or one of the very first flex fit type of hats. Those were sweet! They had them for all of the teams with different “initials” type logos. Pretty sure they’re wool, so they were kinda hot for the Florida heat and humidity.
Looks like the Adidas design stuff before Nike took over. It’s got the 3 stripes on the bill.

I think it actually might be my favorite style that the team has ever had. The font looks like pirate writing and the black and blood red color scheme is soooooo much better than all the ones with white and pewter and that ugly ass cursed creamsicle.
That was definitely the font they used in the SB winning 02 season at a minimum, probably a few years either way as well. Design themes and motos usually last a few years with the teams.
I bought an old adidas jacket recently from a similar time frame. Love the old logo and wordmark. Sorry I didn’t answer your question lol
These were some of my favorite hats and I have 2 of them (grey and red) packed away somewhere at home. It’s when Nike was making some Bucs hats and it’s a fitted hat using the 97-2013 logo font. Clean design and wish New Era would do something like this with the current logo or even the throwbacks
I think the TB stands for Tampa Bay (or Terminate Bowles hard to tell)
I got that hat and the same one in white from Lids back around 2000. Fitted hats got really popular at that time.
Oh man, does the pic bring back memories. I loved this hat to death. Wore the living hell out of it for the better part of a decade.

Yeah I think that was one of those Nike exclusive/separate/non official logos. It was sort of the last era before they really started locking down the branding a bit more strictly. It was sort of the Wild West with licensing prior to 02.
Throw back to the days where they’d release a flash movie about each game on their website. Early 2000s internet was just more fun.

Does anyone remember the Reebok hats from around 02-04. I had a Bucs one that was pewter and had a rubbery/plastic material for the bill. It was my favorite hat and my dog ate ruined it.
I wish they’d make it again, loved this one so much. Throwback to a simpler time.
Speaking of old hats….I had this one in white w/ orange brim. LOVED it. Early 90s.
