DeMeco on CJ

  1. Yes he had a bad game but he was still ballin when it mattered. When he threw that long pass to C Kirk to end the 3rd quarter, I knew we were winning. Dude silenced the stadium when he needed to and they never got back in the game.

  2. Overall, not bad of a performance. Noel comes down with the catch and he hits Nico before half, we have a different story. Just protect the ball and we can beat anybody.

  3. As bad as Stroud was at points he made some clutch throws and wasn’t scared to let it fly. Hopefully got all the bad plays out his system and can show more of his rookie year self at Foxborough

  4. I agree. CJ is getting better at not letting bad plays get to him. But the atmosphere Sunday is going to be very similar to Pittsburgh. The crowd will be loud AF. I hope they can get the snap stuff figured out.

  5. CJ was bad. But yeah he just needs to do better. That’s it. He is not going anywhere and I still have faith.

  6. Release that man. I feel like he has a super power when he is scrambling. Let him loose!

  7. CJ, we need you to stunt on these hoes. We’ve seen your greatness plenty times before, we need that CJ to come through consistently. Be happy, have fun, and ball out.

  8. I hate crapping on CJ, but ffs, a blind man could see that CJ has been bad all season, and damn near single handedly lost the game for us. If it had not been for out #1 out of this world defense, CJ would be out of a job. The man is struggling in a terrible way. He’s gun shy past three seconds in the pocket, he panics when he steps into the pocket, and worse he turns the football over. The man is not playing with confidence, and is not playing well. Good job coach for sticking up for your guy, I wouldn’t expect anything different. However, my god, the CJ slobber has got to chill.

  9. He’s right. The best way to learn and get better is through mistakes especially when the defense gives him such a large margin for error. CJ will be better off for having had a game like this

  10. That’s cool to say that to the media but get on his ass in private, he’s a grown man that needs to do his job better. Don’t be babysitting this dude. And yes I like cj but I’m realistic and I like the team and winning more.

  11. TBH I’d be interested to see a film review of the 5 fumbles, as it looked like most of the ones from shotgun came from poor snaps (and obviously the one which cannoned off CJ whilst he was looking down the line and nobody else moved is completely on Andrews).

Need to tighten up and practice silent count for this Saturday though

  12. I’m a big CJ supporter but in the game thread i said this is starting to feel like Jalen Green last year for the rockets in the playoffs. Our defense can take us all the way but not if CJ makes a lot of mistakes like yesterday cus a more competent team would’ve put us away. If he plays great next weak and we win or lose then whatever. But If he plays terribly and we lose or we barely win cus the defense and kaimi did everything i think we gotta start talking about the his future on the team. Hopefully he fixes whatever’s going on cus I miss 1st year CJ

  13. Yeah and fuck the sorry bitch ass fans who turned on him right away. He stuck it out and delivered and you fucks deserve none of it

  14. Those 2 lost fumbles I don’t really put entirely on him. I thought he was throwing on both of them but I guess his arm wasn’t forward enough to call it an incomplete pass. They never really showed any replays of either of them. He had 1 or 2 other fumbles that I don’t know what was going on, just being a butter fingers. Then one fumble was the center snapping it unexpectedly. Anyway, just a bad game and I expect him to bounce back next week.

  15. I’ll take a QB where the ball bounces off his chest one play and the next he throws a 49 yard pass caught in stride by his receiver.

  16. I think they will boost his confidence but with Nico out remind him that as long as he doesnt turnover ball the defense will win it.

Literally with Nico out I think our gameplay will be run the ball & punt until the defense / special teams does something good
