    All above 22 years old except the unranked Matheus. For a pitcher who’s shown that he can be good in the majors when he’s not injured.

    Good trade for NYY, hopefully Miami backfills with a midtier signing.

  5. Lewis and Jones definitely have potential, but the Yankees already have an OF logjam so their spot on the team was always up in the air.

    Jasso and Matheus are young, can’t really say much about them.

  7. Weathers has to be one of the fastest throwing lefty starters and has 3 years of control so this is a nice trade.

  8. Most of myself hates this trade especially because they’re giving up lewis who i loved so much as a renegade last year perhaps my favorite minor leaguer.

  21. I would never buy a Marlins jersey with a name on it. Only either a blank or like a Jackie Robinson Day jersey with only the number 42 on it.

  22. I know it puts egg on my face constantly but I am such a sucker for injury prone guys. It’s not just innings but performance too, I feel like guys can seem like they came out of nowhere when they just finally got right physically.

    … And then I have to go back and delete all my “THIS PLAYER WILL GET HEALTHY AND TAKE THE WORLD BY STORM!!” comments. But still.

  23. NOOOOO, played the anthem for the Gades back in August and I had a moment with Matheus, he dapped me up, had a 3 hit afternoon, tossed me a ball.

    Hope he balls out.
