REPORT: Cleveland Browns request head coach interview with 30-year-old rising star Grant Udinski

It’s only a matter of time before NFL fans get to know the name Grant Udinski. Teams are constantly searching for the next Sean McVay — the young, offensive mastermind capable of transforming a franchise overnight and leading it for decades.

Udinski’s meteoric rise in recent seasons have him firmly on that kind radar, and the Cleveland Browns just made it official, less than 24 hours after his season ended on Sunday. Per NFL insider Tom Pelissero, the Cleveland Browns have requested to interview Udinski for their head coach opening.   9. No head coach worth his salt is going to hitch his wagon to Watson and Sanders. Just hire Jimmy and call it a day, it's the best this ownership can do.

  15. These guys are crazy… I'd take him in a second. If all of the old guys are out, he'd be my first choice because it's forward thinking. Grab a guy 2 years early. If he's going to be the next big thing and most have him on that path. Just surround him with older DC and staff.

  23. Eliminating him just because of age without any football critique at all is malpractice and invalidates this show. You have to be a first time head coach at some point. But this type of media opinion can shape the minds of casual fans(which is the majority) and continue to reinforce Cleveland’s negative view of itself.
    He’s been talked about very highly by respectable people. He’s 30, but the amount of football experience he has might exceed a lot of his peers.
    I’m interested in this.
