27. Last nights game never got sketchy there was almost a gentlemen’s agreement that if the game wasn’t close at the end, they would pull their starters to ensure Lowry got a curtain call. The Sixers knew the game was over and let off the gas but the Raptors being cornballs tried closing the lead like the Sixers starters couldn’t just get it back again.
    That’s why Raps coach actually made that line change and subbed all his starters out for the deep bench to let Nurse know it’s time.
    You guys gotta understand that Kyle Lowry is as loved in Toronto as Allen Iverson is in Philly so it was a big deal for them as they had Lowry pics all over the venue to celebrate his last game in Toronto. Even Maxey and Embiid promised Lowry they would ensure they put the game out of reach to get him in the game.
