  1. I don’t want to be hater, but I’m going to do it. Why the fuck is Javonte Cooke on this team? He got 6 minutes of actual basketball, and was so bad that he couldn’t get any more meaningful minutes. In a game were we are missing 7 players, most of whom would be playing rotation minutes if they were healthy. We are so injured that every two-way contract needs to be used to the fullest. He’s not Dame’s cousin, he’s not young, and apparently he’s not good enough to get minutes when we literally just need players with a pulse. I’m sure he’s a nice guy, but we need players who can contribute in an emergency. And right now is an emergency. Sidy and Love are both younger and getting rotation minutes. Either you trust him enough to play when you’ve got nobody else, or go get someone else.

  2. This game just shows the impact Deni has on our team on a night to night basis.

The team just has no offensive identity without him.

  3. This was probably a loss anyways but it is malpractice that Shaedon only took 15 shots tonight

  4. Beat their asses the first 3 games to secure the tie breaker, I’m fine with this loss with the injury report.

  5. Very short game notes today bc – burn the film from this game.

    * Glad Yang is okay. He’s taken some huge shots to the head recently.

    * Wow we suck without Deni. That was brutal. Yikes. Sometimes he gets flack for his turnovers but we are totally helpless on offense whenever he’s not on the floor.

    * Good to see Jrue out there finally. He was moving pretty well but definitely looked rusty. And we lost all momentum when he Ben Simmons-ed a wide open layup that would have cut the lead to 10 in the early third quarter. [Edit: did anyone else think he was walking kinda funny in the post game handshake line???]

    * Defense was awful. Felt like on both sides of the floor, guys weren’t accustomed to having Jrue (and not having Deni) and were super out of position and not knowing where guys were gonna be, blowing help rotations on defense, turning the ball over on cuts, etc.

    * Did not love playing RW deep into a blowout when he was already dealing with a sore knee the other day.

    * Unfortunately Love did not kill the Warriors yet again. I think I like the Caleb Love catch-and-shoot experience much more than the Caleb Love Primary Creator experience.

    * Javonte Cooke first quarter minutes. That pretty much tells the story of this one. I really think they could find a better guy in the G league somewhere to sign to a two-way. I know I’ve been spamming this on the subredit so I apologize for sounding like a broken record, but he’s 26 years old, and can barely even get on the court when we have 9 guys on the injury report (and doesn’t look good at all while doing so) like please can we get someone more useful?? If you’re 26 the expectation should be that you can play right now….

  6. Think to really assess shaedon as a number 1 we need a serviceable second option. At least when deni plays shaedon is out there. But think I counted like 5 airballs off Shaedons passes and nobody could do anything when shaedon was getting doubled and collapsed on

  7. The announcers said “how dangerous are the golden state warriors” and “a big time win”. A big time win against the third string of the Blazers without Deni? Jrue Holiday on minutes restriction coming back from injury? Lol come on dude

  8. Has there ever been a player who shot up this high on the MVP ladder in one night by not playing?

  9. It is what it is. Just a ton of turnovers tonight, good thoughts but so many interior passes lost, or the ball just getting grab out of our hands.

A lot of things just didn’t connect out there. Deni is the story of the week, but if all our other missing guys were available we’d have had a decent shot at this game. Things snowballed badly, but if we can stop that process early…

Glad to see Yang okay. Poor guy has been taking a beating.

  10. Im getting real tired of this team. Why tf is Caleb Love shooting the most FG attempts on my team, even more than Sharpe? Jesus Christ. Watching him chucking bricks gets exhausting, I know he had a nice stretch for a few weeks but he’s still shooting terribly for the season. The only reason he had points was because he started statpadding in garbage time but he was like 1-11 at one point. We got nothing from Camara and Clingan. Just a terrible, terrible game to watch.

I’m so tired of this injury prone ass team. Jerami Grant is way more injury prone than ppl talk about. He’s averaging 54 games a season as a Blazer. Timelord is permanently on minutes restriction if he plays. Still no Scoot. Still no Thybulle. Jrue missed games and is rusty. This is just brutal to watch.

  11. Do you guys know how Chinese fans talk about Deni? They say he was like both the dad and the mom out there, basically “feeding the family.” 😭

  12. If Deni is out more than a month, I suggest we tank and sell high on some of the vets..

  13. Chinese fans couldn’t care less if Blazers win or lose, they’re strictly here for Yang. Some of them are actually rooting for the team to lose and tank just so he can get more run on the floor
