3. I loved Tucker too. But there is no way in creation the Astros would even come close to that. And we got great value back. Cubs got screwed.

8. If the Mets signed Tucker to $50 mil a year, they’d be paying ~$102 million to just Soto and Tucker alone.

   If you include Polanco, Semien and Lindor, that’s $183 million between 5 players.

   Just wild.

9. I liked Tucker as much as the next Astros fan when he was here. But there is no way he gives a shit about playing and winning baseball after reaching free agency to justify that contract. I’m not saying he’s at the Rendon level but it’s not that far off.

10. Tucker kinda gives me a rendon vibe. Hes pretty nonchalant and borderline apathetic at times. I dont see how nyc doesnt tear him up if him or the team underperforms and hes over there looking like he doesnt give af as he always does
