  8. You need to chill. I don’t understand why the Steelers are such a great destination. QB is geriatric and almost all of their good players are old as hell.

  11. Any Steeler's head coach should be someone who is comfortable with bottoming out for a year or two as they rework their roster. That removes some of the better potential candidates imo.

    The overall roster situation a coach is walking into is massively more important than the reputation of the ownership/FO imo.

  12. It’s going to be an even more attractive job for young coaches. Because any coach that’s looking for longevity is going to choose the Steelers! Three coaches in the history of the franchise. They do not fire and higher coaches “let’s face it” like the Titans. I don’t think it affects our ability to get John or Mike McCarthy because they’re older. But a young coach like Robert Salah, Mike McDaniels, Shula, etc. would definitely want that Pittsburgh position.

  18. Why would the Steelers so exciting of a job? No quarterback, there roster is trash, and the team that came up with the Rooney rule. Steelers was once a good team they have been trash in recent years.

  25. Dude, we weren’t even discussing Tomlin as a head coach. This take is a stretch. And why would the Steelers hire Harbaugh who was essentially fired for the same issues (playoff performance). Steelers won’t hire Harbaugh. Lastly, this is the greatest pool of coaches on the market there has ever been. Have faith man.

  26. Harbaugh isn't going to Pittsburgh. He's too old for them. If you look at the age of all of their last 3 coaches when they were hired, two of them were 34, and one was 37.

John Harbuagh is interested in Cam and titans with cam and a 100 mil cap space and a number of some high draft picks and GM Mike Borgonzi new stadium coming looks pretty intriguing for a coach.   30. Steelers don’t have a QB, don’t have a high draft pick, entire roster of aging stars, not that much cap space, having the expectation of playoffs right out the gate, that’s a terrible job to take.

  31. Honestly, I think a lot of these guys at the top of everyone's lists are overhyped. If the John Harboughs, Mike McCarthy's go to the Giants and Steelers, I would be fine with it. Stefanski, I like. I think you're low balling how attractive the Titans are. Yes, they have an owner developing a reputation for firing every two years. Other than that, everything else is positive. If a candidate doesn't want to be here, then move on quickly. Someone else will!
