  1. I don’t think diggs gets cut. I believe they signed him this year so they would have him for next season.

  2. If we cut Jacobs, I just don’t know what we’re doing.

He looked great Saturday now that he was finally healthy.

  3. From the UFA – I think we bring back Walker, Enagbare, and Rhyan. After that I’m not sure. I think Doubs is likely gone unfortunately.

  4. Restructure/extend Jacob’s and keep McDuffie.

    Maybe restructure Diggs.

    Cut Elgton and Gary.

  5. Jacobb and Diggs should be restructure canidates. The others should be cut as soon as possible.

Jacobs is the only one on the list I’d be ok with keeping on the current deal, but also wouldn’t be super dissappointed if they cut him if they can’t work out a deal.

  6. Diggs will be reworked and brought back on a 1 year prove it deal saving 10-12 mil.

McDuffie is staying. he is solid depth at LB and a core ST player.

Jacobs is staying. We cannot find a replacement for 8 mil that does what he does.

Gary/Jenkins are gone. no one will trade for them with their base salary.

As far as UFA’s go, Niemann and Fitz will probably be back at min contracts. Rhyan depending on his asking price. The rest are gone due to cost.

All ERFA’s will be back because they are dirt cheap.

as far as RFA’s go, Whyle, Kinnard, Wilson and Ridder are probably back.

  7. I’ve been saying we need to draft a Runningback. Jacobs is a workhorse, but that load will catch up to him. I like Wilson, but we need an explosive backfield. One that really scares defenses. Like the Lions have.

  8. As long as I don’t have to watch Gary jogging after the ball, I’m happy with our team for next season

  9. Highly doubt Jacobs or McDuffie get cut. Diggs definitely won’t be back on his current contract. Don’t know if that’s a restructure, cut and re-sign, or just released. Jenkins and Gary are for sure cuts though

  10. I can see an argument for basically anyone save Jacobs.

We need O-Line, and we don’t have picks. So that’s going to get pricey.

Diggs is a major what-if so I think he gets another ‘make it’ deal due to being a position of need.

Doubs is staying. Love is going to get that man paid, and same for Watson.

I think Parsons unfortunately renders Gary irrelevant and has highlighted major issues with his play. He gets a lot of unnecessary flack, but at the same time those criticisms are still valid.

This is tough because you have to look at every player, what they bring to the team, and decide if they’re worth keeping. Which is never a fun position to be put into.

However, if you have some crafty accountants a lawyers you can basically do whatever the fuck you want.

  11. To everyone smarter than me (most of, if not all of you):

Is there a way to tag and trade Willis or is that not smart/ possible?

  12. I’m confident that we’ll see Jenkins and Gary cut and that Doubs, Willis and both Walkers will go in free agency.

No idea about other names but I’d be really surprised if any of the above six are back for next season.

  13. Keep jacobs cut the rest, mcduffie probably safe LB scarcity…….Diggs no brainer…….Jenkins gone

  14. Gary, Jenkins, Diggs released. Keep Jacobs (resign/restructure), keep McDuffie. Oh and FIRE MCMANUS

  15. Jenkins is my big cut candidate, the rest should give restructure a try and if not before June then explore cutting options. Jacobs and McDuffie should not be cut candidates imo.

  16. I feel like whoever was the first one to make these lists added Jacobs as engagement bait. Dude isnt going anywhere

  17. Jenkins is a VG guard and can play tackle. Switching him to center was a huge fuckup by Gutey.

  18. Gary, Nixon, Jenkins and possibly McManus are gone for cap/performance/off field issues. Rhyan is the only starter that might get re-signed depending on price tag. The rest of the players getting re-signed from that list are likely depth pieces like cox for example

  19. Shocked to see apathy from packers fans towards Josh Jacobs. He’s one of the best backs in the league, and uplifts the culture and work ethic of the team. Might be time to get off this sub lol

  20. We are not cutting Jacobs. His decline this year was due to playing injured and a terrible offensive line.
