Say what you want about Joe Schoen and the owners, they deserve their flowers. They played the perfect game (golf reference – Ian O’Conner). I was for firing Schoen but, this kind of thinking and execution is why the Giants wanted to keep him around. Hoping he turns it around and build a championship team. Go Big Blue!

Apparently he flew on Steve Tisch’s private jet in Baltimore to the Giants facility which means the first meeting went really well. They could go there to sign the deal.
We went all in. We’re doing everything we possibly can. Mara and Schoen deserve some props.
I want to believe. But I also fully believe this is Rap stirring engagement. And if Harbaugh doesn’t sign, the national reporters can squeeze out a shit ton of clicks from anxious NY fans

Yeah I just keep thinking ownership would have had to spend time looking for a GM first, but with Schoen there, at least they were able to get the Rooney interviews done much sooner. Really hoping this works out.

If he never leaves the building he won’t be able to coach away games. I want a coach who will be there for every game.
Harbaugh is the best hire for us. We can’t take chances anymore on potential. This group of coaching candidates is arguably the best in recent years and probably of all time.
With that being said, while I do believe that Harbaugh will right the ship for us, the best coach to come out of this cycle might just be Shula. Only time will tell in 3-5 years. I also think for Shula to be the best, it has to be with an organization that’s not us lol. He’s going to fail here and his coaching momentum might just be dead on arrival.
