  2. I’m sorry but this channel sucks! Of course they’re spit balling but do you really believe the front office would trade Nico to the Giants for WHO and WHAT???? Right there, it should have registered the second you read that thirst trap tweet like everybody else! It does not make sense financially! Nico is a fan favorite! His jersey cant stay stocked! Nico is getting paid next offseason by the cubs and that’s that! Strike or not! Stop click baiting us my guy! We’re watching everything just like you and I’m kind of shocked you would over due these vids like your fam base is full of idiots or something! Wow

  9. Having Nico at QB and Shaw at UTL is extremely valuable. Not having a bench was a huge problem for the Cubs last year. Trade Nico and put Shaw at 2B means less rest days again. Depth is important. Additionally, just like Nico said about Team USA, sure its fun to have a masher at the plate with the same on the line but when you need Someone to actually put the bat on the ball you call a guy like Horner (paraphrasing)

  11. Cubs are in it to win for once. Trading Nico leaves you worse off at 2nd, so it doesn’t make sense, UNLESS you get a 2B in return who is as good. D’Backs were trying to get rid of Marte for young pitching. Maybe package Nico with Wicks/Assad/Brown (any combination of those guys). Would either team do that?

  13. Trading Nico is exactly what is wrong with baseball!
    You cant even buy your favorite players jersey these days, because they will be gone with in 3 to 5 years…. because of money, not performance or value to his team.
    I can't imagine how Nico must feel after all his leadership and performance.

  19. If the Cubs get rid/trade of Nico, it will be yet another blunder on their part. It doesn't make any sense period to get rid of him. If they do, they will NOT be ALL IN. Stupid Ricketts and Hoyer! Incompetent idiots!

  32. It doesn't make much sense to trade Nico unless somebody really overpays, like the Tucker deal. Why break up the best infield in baseball by trading a .300 hitting Gold Glove 2B/SS?

  34. We could have use that 175 million to extend his contract instead of getting a old 3rd baseman when we already have a gold glove finalists rookie in Matt Shaw.

  37. No… I don't agree that Tucker is "a better player" than Bellinger! Tucker is WAY overrated…that's why none of the MLB money teams are willing to pay him a long-term contract.
