[Kelberman] Broncos DC Vance Joseph is in position to become the Cardinals head coach. Denver would receive two third-round picks if he gets the job.

  1. If that happens, he will have gone from Broncos HC to Cardinals DC to Broncos DC to Cardinals HC

  2. I love Vance but if he wants to go he should

That said Vance please accept our Walmart money we have so much of it

  3. If Vance goes, fine. But I stg that better be it. Time to pony up and pay Webb, Leonhard, Cain, Lynch, etc. We can’t get stripped to the bone.

  4. If he does go, at least it’s out of conference but also, how does this give the Broncos the picks? I’m rather lost on this, it’s not like a trade so I have no idea

  5. Maybe dumb question but does this mean the team is awarded draft picks or they come from the cardinals?

  6. Well, I don’t think VJ can fix what’s wrong with the Bidwills, but I wish him good fortune if he accepts the job.

  7. Hope we can nail those third round picks. Probably not the last high profile coaching loss we’re going to suffer either

  8. He’s earned another shot. But I just feel that being the defensive coordinator of the Denver Broncos is a much better position than being the head coach of the Cardinals right now.

  9. I don’t know why Vance would go somewhere without a QB, you’d think he wouldn’t wanna fall for that one again

  10. I got a feeling he won’t go if they make it to the afc championship. Even more so if they get to the Super Bowl. I think he knows what this team has and how great it can be. Kind of the whole pats scenario, “Do you want the job title or the wins?” At least in my mind that makes sense. That said, if his goal is to do the HC thing right second time around, I’m all for it. Probably gonna root for his new team too as long as it’s not the raiders, chargers or chiefs

  11. I know it’s not a done deal but always kinda felt this was VJ’s most likely destination given his experience with the organization. I know it was been a roller-coaster ride for him but I believe he will have learned a lot from Payton as to what it takes to build an organization.

  12. Gambling on anything and everything.

  13. I was hoping he’d have a chance to got to team that was better set up to be successful. Hope he’s able to find a serviceable QB or given the air cover to go all in on a rebuild.

  14. Vance has at least 6 other HC interviews lined up. And it’s practically guaranteed at least a couple of them will make him some sort of offer as one of the top HC candidates this year. All of them would probably be better places to go than the Cardinals…even the Titans. One could argue that he might want to go with them if they simply offer to pay him the most. But if his decision is all about money, it’s likely the Broncos would be willing to match any offers to keep him. Bottom line is that it would be really dumb of him to pick the Cardinals, despite his familiarity with the team.

  15. 2 very late 3rd round draft picks (which are really when you think about it early 4th rd picks) for VC? Sign me up!

  16. I like Vance, but for a Defensive guy, going to a place without a franchise QB or in position to get a franchise QB could be an issue. It would be like his HC tenure in Denver, he didn’t have a solid QB or offensive scheme.

Id want success for him, and I don’t know if Arizona is the place for that.

  17. Teams looking for a new HC are rarely in a good spot, but Arizona has to one of the worst, down there with the Raiders or Jets. It would take more than just good coaching to bring them back, unfortunately I think he’d be set up for failure there

  18. I really appreciate what Vance has done over these last couple seasons, but if we get 2 thirds out of the deal, I’m perfectly fine with it.
