29. The true problem is NIL… On one hand I'M for it pay me 1st round money for 1yr rental but the die hard old school side of me like "yall don fck it up" lol. It used to be 2-3 years of good/ "generational" talent 1 year of "good" / "safe" now it's 1 year generational 3 years Solid/OK . It's all about the QB and I DO NOT want to win 6-7 games with a veteran fringe starter QB next year and finish with the 10-12th overall pick and have to give up 3 firsts to go up and draft a QB, either suck this year again or find your future QB

43. Yes, he clearly stayed to give himself a better chance of landing somewhere else next year because being the Jets quarterback is career suicide. Sure, he gets a paycheck, but by the time the Jets are done with you, your value is destroyed, especially when outside of Garrett Wilson and Breece Hall they have no real offensive weapons. On top of that, you have an owner who publicly embarrassed Justin Fields on national TV, went after Jordan Travis, and even mocked his injury, so who would want to be part of that environment? Jets podcasters and fans also showed they are clearly raciest, suddenly giving Cook grace even though he played terribly while Fields took 100% of the blame, when in reality Fields had no chance with an offensive line that could not block and receivers who could not catch, and once he was benched the Jets went from a top five rushing team to bottom twenty five in both rushing and passing. Yet Jets podcasts and media framed it as one hundred percent the Fields fault, even though Tyrod Taylor was constantly injured behind the same line and Cook, who started only four games compared to Fields’ nine, nearly matched him in pass attempts, proving that even when they tried to air it out nobody could protect the quarterback or make plays, which led to nineteen sacks, seven interceptions, and likely ended Cook’s career too. So yeah a MAGA owner who doesn't respect his QBs and a Jets fanbase who is delusional and holds their black QB's to Peyton Manning standards with no offensive weapons. I think that played a little into Moore's decision.
