Brock Purdy, a story of his own, leading a battered and depleted 49ers team into a playoff run in a year the 49ers were supposed to be in semi-rebuild mode. This is why we watch. If any of us can muster the resilience this team has shown, we’ll be better for it.
I’ve heard a lot of people here say this but win or lose, I am satisfied with this season. More than satisfied. I couldn’t be more proud to be a fan of THIS team, because when the shit gets rough, they don’t crumble. Without guys like Deebo and Aiyuk breaking down when shit goes South, we have a group of dudes who endure shot after shot and yet still endure. Resilience is this year’s real theme, and one this team has shown in spades.
