I didn’t watch last night’s game I’m just upvoting because of that mop
Love Reed and what he brings but JD is clearly a ‘point’ guard – several possessions late in the game he was pointing / moving guys around, getting the offense set. He can play, clearly, is a stout and aware defender too. Hoping he’s rightfully usurped Holiday in the rotation
Not that rankings matter BUT he was the number 1 player ranked in his high school class.
Glad we have the guy. Be he’s no nba starter.

Second highest +/- last night with +14. Dude isn’t gonna solve all of our problems but we better give him more run until he proves otherwise

We were definitely was communicating better with him on the court. He also was always willing to do dirty work which is weirdly something some of the younger rotation guys are losing sight of.

He at least looks semi competent handling the ball. I think there’s a place on this team as a backup pg. let’s not get too carried away.
Won’t forget the uncalled goal tending against the coogs, but let this young man cook.
