  1. I’m suprised that the Dbacks didn’t want to rock with Blaze Alexander is a real baller who is better than Arenado both offensively and defensively. and Jordan Lawlar has to play at some point, heck why not trade him for something now? I wanna see Lawlar in Pittsburg or Cinci.

  2. As a Snakes fan, its fine. Worst case they DFA and eat $11M but that means Lawlar and Pavin both are raking.
Arenados drop off seems “Rendon-esque”, where he just didnt care. He waived to come here.. watch him rake. For a nobody and $11M/2. Snakes ATE.
Move him to 1st to take time for Pavin. Lawlar stays at 3B to see who he is. Blaze LF and anywhere else hes needed.

  3. So glad you were wrong when said you didn’t think he would get traded. This had to get done. No way around it. They had to pay a hefty price

  4. Dbacks fan. Was wtFFFFFF when I saw this but after seeing the cash considerations and prospect cost, I low key love it. Get off the Lawler crap, hes shifting to the OF.

  5. Arenado will play 1st and Blaze will play 3rd prety simple. Gold will come in as a DH, Lawlar the fraud will be traded for pitching and we'll probably get whoever is left from relief free agency.

  6. Not much to lose getting Nolan Arenado. He’s a hard worker and he probably would have played more if the Cardinals didn’t go with youth last year. New place, new energy, hopefully. If he can just get his WAR number up to 2-2.5, which is possible, then he will help the Diamondbacks. Maybe 12 to 16 HRs and a .265 BA.
