The falcons typically hire from their last 2 interview candidates as head coaches. It happened with Raheem and Arthur. I think they go with McDaniels. Im not mad at all about that. Honestly excited but just my guess.
Tbh, I wasn’t crazy about Harbaugh. Definitely could’ve gotten excited for the hire, but there a few guys this cycle that would have me stoked.

I believe the plan was always Ryan-Cunningham-Kubiak. I think 2/3 of that plan is already set, but then McDaniel got fired and a wrench got thrown into that plan, now either is entirely possible.
Personally I’m in the McDaniel camp, but wouldn’t fault him if he wants to take some time off from the stress of HC and do a year or two at OC with the Eagles or Lions.
Kubiak could be great. I still want McDaniel and I’m not out on Stefanski either. But I never particularly wanted Harbaugh.

He came to be head coach the same year we hired Mike smith after being a specials team coordinator. A young, modern offensive minded head coach is better for the team.
