  1. Honestly it doesn't bother me that they dont talk about the Texans, its H Town vs everybody! Houston sports as a whole get no love, fuck em! I have loved this team since 2002 we dont need the band waggoners!

  2. The Duke says, Texas teams are always disrespected because Texas is a red state. Sadly the bile of politics has seeped into every category of life including Sports. If Texans voted like California we would be adored. They don't like us for a variety of reasons, too many to list here. The Texans could win the Super Bowl and they would not give a crap. What did I teach you?

  3. We got 17 points on offense wtf! Woody would not have had that touchdown without CJ wasn’t hitting Kirk and getting those 3rd down conversions smh CJ overcame and threw the passes that mattered to get us in position to win !

  4. The lack of Houston Texans talk has been a thing for Texans for ages. I bet even if we win the Super Bowl, the other team will be spoken of more than the Texans

  5. Stroud hits on two big td plays early. One to Noel and one to Higgins. Maye throws 4 picks. He has never experienced anything like what he’s about to face. Will coming at him really fast.

  6. I loved how after the game, the cameras followed Aaron Rodgers just walking back to the locker room, and spent no time talking to Christian Kirk or Woody Marks, both of whom had great games, let alone DeMeco Ryans or any of the players on that lights-out defense. Why not talk to Sheldon Rankins? Or Calen Bulloch?

  7. The Texans are not this legacy team that folks grew up watching in the 60s, 70s and 80s when they were kids with all of the nostalgia. They don’t have footage with the NFL films guy with the iconic voice doing voice overs with mythical stories about how they won with all of these heroic hall of famers that played for them. There’s no charismatic owner that’s owned the team for 40 years that everybody knows. Basically they aren’t a household name….yet.

The defense is already being touted as one of the best ever. That’ll be solidified if they go even further in the playoffs.

CJ Stroud’s legend may be in the process of being created if he comes back with a legendary performance against the Pats on Sunday after a stinker against the Steelers. It’ll be great for the documentary that’ll follow if they win it all.

All of their glory is potentially being built this year.

  8. Easy. We aren't having these conversations because the Texans haven't done anything they haven't already before (well, except winning on the road): Make the playoffs, win the Wild Card game. It's old hat. Win the Divisional Game, make the AFCCG. Fail to do that and this season is a failure. Harsh? maybe. But I'm tired of being a doormat for OTHER teams in the Divisional Round.

  9. Stroud is getting a lot of heat nationally. People are talking about him like he sucks. With that being the case, I really think Stroud is going to have a career defining game on Sunday. We already know the defense is going to do what they do and make life hell for Drake Maye. I think all this hate is really gonna light a fire under Stroud, and he is gonna have a huge game for the Texans.
