Jeff Gorton was the GM of the Bruins for 4 months in 2006. In that timespan, he drafted Phil Kessel, Milan Lucic, traded up to draft Brad Marchand, traded Andrew Raycroft for Tuukka Rask, and signed free agents Marc Savard and Zdeno Chara

That’s insane, in 4 months nonetheless.
Also built a team that was recognized as a contender in NY before Drury destroyed it completely.
He’s obviously god if not great at what he does. So the question is, why does he keep getting fired?
and they fired him??? didn’t they win the stanley cup? this team was so fun to hate as a youth lol

Don’t look at what’s happening with the rangers.
Holy smokes, dude not know that, the guy is a hockey talent genius
Its important to note that he was hired as the interim GM in Boston. So it’s not has he was fired, more like replaced. I Assume if the would have known in advance what impact he made they wouldn’t have but it’s always easy to speak after.
Can’t say the same for the NYR, they did fire him those bozos.
In 4 months he made the bruins relevant for years.
Casually building a top franchise in a single quarter
THAT is doing damage. Jesus. As an intern gm. What a monster.
Man I wish he didn’t
He won them the cup 5 yrs before holy shit.
Goofy ahh pic
Very Impressive in an industry as volatile as pro sports. Makes you wonder why he wasn’t hired for a similar position sooner.
