You know what, I appreciate this video. I appreciate AD. Now before you pick up that pitchfork, hear me out.
Dude came into an impossible situation. He didn’t ask to be traded at all, let alone be “the other guy” in the worst trade of my lifetime. Like, you can’t really win in that situation. He did try though. He knew he couldn’t make the fans forget about Luka, but he did the best he could. He tried to ball out, but his body let him down. What more can you ask of somebody in that shitty of a situation?
I saw somebody comment earlier today calling AD a crybaby and soft. I just don’t see it. I think he actually tried to play through stuff he shouldn’t have and came back earlier than he should have at various times. I think he did that because he does care, he wants to play well and win.
I can clearly see how he gets hurt too, he throws his body around and moves in ways somebody that big shouldn’t be able to. I also can’t recall him really complaining about being put in this impossible situation either. Can’t really ask more than that.
All that said, he still gotta go! I appreciate you AD, but the first reasonable offer is a trigger pull and I wish you the best in your future endeavors. 🤷🏻
