  1. This seems like a much better trade for us than going after Morant. Kuminga could become part of a really good bench unit with Jaquez and Jovic, and Golden State wants expiring contracts. Guess who has an expiring that fits perfectly with Kuminga’s salary? We could throw in a pick swap to entice them and call it a day. This isn’t a huge move from Miami, but it’ll be another weapon we can add for a playoff push. Kuminga also has a team option for next season so we can just dump him if he doesn’t work out.

  2. 3 Team trade

    Heat – Kuminga, Morant, Konchar

    Memphis – Herro, Rozier, Trayce

    Warriors – Simone, Landale, Keshad

    Why?

    1. Heat previously showed interest in kuminga and konchar
    2. Memphis gets a good return for ja
    3. Warriors get good expiring contracts who can actually contribute to them this year

Also I believe we stay out the tax in this trade.
The heat would be more balanced and higher ceiling

  3. I’m all for Morant, but I don’t believe in Kuminga at all. Hope we don’t pursue him.

  4. I suppose I’d trade Jovic for him cause he’s just a slight upgrade but I wouldn’t even attach a pick for this guy. His value is nowhere near draft capital level

  5. The only thing better about this trade than going after Morant is the contract situation. Kuminga is just not it, not a good enough player and he won’t really fix anything for us. Ja has a lot more upside but I think he’s washed too, I’d rather we don’t get any of them
