Idc how much you hate Okongwu, his contract is way way way too good to just trade away unless you’re getting some truly good value

They “called” another team is agent speak, and it means absolutely nothing in the vast majority of cases.
If they give us decent draft compensation and Mathurin I don’t see why not. This season is not going well enough that we shouldn’t look to next and by that time either Newell or Gueye can be the backup center and we can flip assets in a sign and trade to pick up either Hartenstein or Kessler in the offseason.
This is also coming from someone who really likes OO.
That said, even if these rumors are true I’m not sure how interested they are in OO specifically vs just calling everyone with a decent center to pair with Haliburton when he gets back.
