we’re gonna have like 40 mill off the books this offseason right? 17 mil free right now wit 34 off the books? Feels silly to be talking abouot cap crunches when we’re not close with all of our stars signed long term and no one above dylans number. If we’re writing articles about cap hits why not one about how Lucas might be the cheapest, consistent 90 point player in the league moving forwards?
Reminder that there was 3 defenders drafted before asp.
Only Axel is a regular on an nhl team while the others are either ahl regulars or in and out of the lineup.
This could be a pick that could haunt those teams for many years.
They will help, but still need another top level forward. What if Plante is that good
We have a good core group. Pretty much a top line player at LW, C, RW, LD, and RD.
We really need a couple of ASP, Finnie, Kasper, Danielson, MBN, etc to elevate and establish themselves as core guys as well.
I have as much hope for ASP as anyone, it’s awesome seeing him with the big club and scoring goals, but he’s not there yet. His ice time is down this month and he’s like 18th lowest in plus/minus across the league (tied with Kasper).
Out the gate we could tell Larkin, Raymond, and Seider were dudes. This newest cohort, I can’t say that about anyone. They reallllly need to come to fruition or else we’re in big trouble.
