I would also be curious to know how much say Greg Roman had on bringing these two guys in…

Ehhhh wouldn’t go that far.
I totally forgot we had Conklin on the roster. Dude really got buried on the bench (for good reason).
Conklin SUCKED
These guys were complete afterthoughts. Forgot they were even on the roster
Yeah I remember there was moderate hype around here about Conklin and he literally did not contribute at all.
I agree these guys weren’t great but some people on this sub are overvaluing the need for high value depth like Baltimore. At the end of the day they’re primarily blockers in our offense and the occasional dumpoff. Hopefully the next OC can scheme better so we’re not depending on loads of catches from TE3 in critical games

Kenyon Sadiq is projected to be available when the Bolts draft at #22.
Sneaky draft need. I’d be fine if they kept Fisk for blocking. Go out and get a young all-around TE to complement Gadsden.
Outside the draft, I don’t see what has been so great about Hortiz this year. He killed it year one, but he bombed this year in FA.
Freakin Conklin
I wanted Conklin like 4 years ago, he finally gets picked up and it’s after he’s washed. He was a solid upper mid TE for years.
hayden could’ve been at least serviceable if tank commander stick didn’t throw him a hospital ball in preseason
I mentioned this in the other thread – the amount of TEs we picked up in the last few years who faded away is crazy. Besides OG, the last recent one that was decent to watch was Gerald Everett.
Hortiz has accomplished nothing as a GM. Saying he is great is just so mediocre.
