Seems like a good pickup to me!

  1. A lot of the guys they called up last year, who never would’ve been called up if they were on other teams, won’t be seeing much time this year

  2. I’m sorry Willi. I want to be excited, but I’ve been burned too many times. It’s not you…it’s the Monforts

  3. Curious to see where he plays in the field. Would be an upgrade and 2nd or 3rd over Amador and Karros

  4. A top utility guy that is solid enough when forced into regular playing time. AAV is $ 6.4 million dollars which by MLB standards is OK. He’s a legitimate major league baseball player, not some AAAA player we forced into a 25 man squad out of desperation.

I wonder if the Rockies are thinking regular LF or 2B or utility guy?

  5. Good to see decent players are willing to come here at all. I personally wouldn’t want to sign with the Rockies, unless I would be in the minors otherwise.

Hopefully good baseball is in our future. I’m not going to be greedy and expect deep playoff runs. 1 step at a time. I just want to go to a game and have it be entertaining.

  6. Glad to see the Rockies making some moves this off season instead of siting around doing nothing.

  7. A smart, affordable signing that leaves room for more smart, affordable signings? Hook this shit to my veins!

  8. Honestly like your guys offseason a lot

Glad to see moves being made

Wishing a nice rebuild-non Rockies fan

  9. Willi is a great guy to encourage fans to tune I think. Seems like people love him everywhere he goes, average-slightly above average defender all over the field who can hit from both sides of the plate with the Coors Effect. I love it

  10. Maybe it’s the 2003 Tigers all over again? 😃

Or not. But moves like these are good to see.
