  1. I disagree with Jamal on his take that the style of the 2019 Blues wont win them another cup. Physically always beats skill. Not to say they werent skilled, but the Panthers teams were very physical. That style is always in style. The problem with the Blues is they 1-Arent fast and 2- They aren't physical

  2. I dont think he is watching the games. How is it goaltendings fault when three goals a game are on multiple deflections? Goaltending is hyper dependent on the defense in front of them. They are getting exposed on man to man defense. the wingers on the other teams are pulling defenseman away from the net causing all the chaos in front of it. Its not hard to see.

  3. The goalies have to get better? Jamal baby Hofer is tied with 4 in shut outs. Where is this mythical goalie rating number coming from? 57th ,89th ? what is that. The bottom 6 are the problem? HaHaHa.. You give a pass to the high dollar top 6 that ain't scoring anywhere near where they should be. How long are their slumps supposed to last? How many actual Blues games have you watched this year? This is crazy.

  4. This might sound crazy – why not two playoffs. The top 16 play for the Cup and something like the NIT where bottom teams that didn't qualify play a type of playoff

  5. Good analysis. Binner has not been good this year. For Hofer to turn his game around like he did with > .900 sv % is good though, because he started out bad. I appreciate Mayers saying it like it is with this team. Fix the things you can fix like the pK. For the bottom 6 to get faster, quicker, and younger will take not making the playoffs and picking high in the draft and moving out some big fishes like Kyrou , and to a lesser extent Faulk, Schenn, and maybe P. Suter too.
