Joe Salas. Of Cedar Springs, Michigan. We need from our Draft Picks. # 1. A true Center or a Veteran, # 2. Tackle. # 3. A Edge-Rusher. And like you guys said about Kerby Joseph or even Brian Branch we don't know what's up with them right now, so what maybe a # 4. A DB. SS? Just asking because I'm not sure about if this person re-tired in Jon Gurden? Would he be good for our team the Detroit Lions please answer me thank you guys? 1/15/2026 God bless you all! 🙌🙌🙌
It's more whining and complaining from Detroit media than any other fan base
It seems like the current Lions team management thought time stopped for all of the other teams in our division and the Lions would own this division last year, this year, next year, etc. So while all of the other teams in our division made moves to improve, the Lions seemed to think they were all set and could stay driving on criuse control. It's good to build team culture and team identity. But, at this point, building team culture and identity must solely revolve around building a winning team. And let winning build culture and identity. Let building the number one offensive line and defensive line build team culture and identity. Get a top-notch free-agent pass rusher. Stop drafting "project players." Stop getting damaged free agents on-the-cheap and on their last leg. Plug holes and build for depth in the secondary. Act with a sense of urgency, be ruthless, take some risk, and keep continuously improving. Let all this build team culture and identity. Our window will completely close in two years and then it's time for a rebuild. So, the Lions brain-trust needs to stop being philosophical and get practical. Take risks to get top-notch talent to plug holes for today and let tomorrow take care of itself. The worst that can happen is we'll get what we've been getting. But the best that can happen is we stepped out of our comfort zone and took hold of our future to win. And that attitude goes a long way to build our team culture and team identity.
"If you don't get better you are getting worse". Spot on! The Lions to me believed that they had so much talent that they would be able to compete at the same level as they had previously. They believed that even with a change in the OC and DC positions that they were the same team and not having a OL and DL. While everyone else got better and if the Lions were exactly what they were last year they would be worse because everyone got better. I agree, the Lions need to win a SB and actually the should have made back to back SB appearances this past year. The Lions need to win a SB! Period.
Guys. You need to do a video on what the 43 is.
Hutchinson is your cash cow.
The other edge is a can crusher.
Muhammad had 11 sacks as an accessory pass rusher.
You are misleading fans trying to convince them there is some magic fix. Muhammad had more sacks and QB hits than Crosby.
IT IS NOT ABOUT DE.
It’s about scheme. It’s designed to get Hutchinson loose. And stop the run. And when Hutchinson does get loose, the other guy can clean up. That happened. But the run part failed. That needs to be addressed. But it’s not a high end EDGE RUSHER. It’s more your paschal or Levi inside out type. If you don’t like that. Trade Hutchinson for a bag and invest in a 34D.
If the fans got this, they’d understand why Holmes will AGAIN seemingly go small at DE. They’ll seek a run defender, not a pass rusher—or will resign AQM. They’re not paying an elite edge rusher 30M a year when half his snaps will be run defense snaps. Or drafting an accessory player in the first.
Why do fans not understand this?
Anson such a fuckin tool!!!!
The one ring to rule them all. Who doesn't want it? But I agree: Lions missing the playoffs was a step backwards. I think Dan knows that. I think Brad knows that. I think the players know that. So LFG.
Need coaching re-haul. Total failure. End the experiment
Winning football is not enough. The Lions went to the playoffs a d won regular season games in the 90's with Barry but Nobody cares..why?..because its not a Superbowl. Its SB or gtfo.. Brad Holmes has done a decent job but its not good enough until the city of Detroit gets a SB win. Thats the job no more no less if you cant do it step asode and make room for someone who can. Forever building for the future is not good enough. The core is solid, yes but players have experation dates. The NFL stands for not for long so make the bold moves while you have the chance. "We're good isnt good enough".
Gruden!!!!!
Brad Holmes failed in the off-season. They relied on their hard-core superstar players to carry the whole team.
