Dolan meddling is WHY Drury is the rangers GM. And no Rangers fan with half a brain wanes more Dolan meddling. They’d prefer that he sells team.
But knowing that will never happen, if he wants to raise the cup (and as I expect, unjustly take all the credit) he needs to hire a GM capable of building a front office and extended staff that can cultivate a winning culture. Then he needs to completely fuck off and not get involved until the day of the parade down 7th Ave.
And if you think that *right now* Dolan is meddling with the Knicks too much, then you’ve either been a fan for a nanosecond or you’re too clueless to remember what real Dolan meddling was like for the Knicks in the past.

We’re halfway through the Knicks season and we started with some serious highs and are having a low right now.
I was hesitant with the KAT trade because I’m a huge Jules and Donte Stan, but I get why it was done. I don’t think they’ve fully figured out how to get KAT on track in games where he doesn’t take over early…. and that was rhe same problem we had with Randle. I do believe that Dolan has been pretty hands off because if you look at the wild maneuvering to get Brunson and then get him to extend early for way less…. you kind of have to shut up and think that the ship is on a decent course.
Rangers hockey seems to be on a steady decline year after year since 2021 and there’s one common thread there.

Drury is in his position BECAUSE Dolan meddled. It’s why he’s never getting fired until he gets embroiled in some legal issue like Isaiah Thomas
This is old news in general because it’s been like that for years . but it still makes sense. Dolan always left the rangers alone. But with the Knicks it’s the total opposite. That’s why the Knicks have been a laughing stock for so long. Now it’s just injuries and bad luck. (Because on paper the Knicks have a good team) Alteast in my opinion.
I’m in sport hell rn. The rangers are terrible with a bad GM and owner. The Yankees are terrible with a bad GM and owner. I don’t like basketball but I like NY and they can’t seem to put themselves together in a year where they should at least make the finals. The Eagles won the Super Bowl then proceeded to nepotize there offensive coordinator to a no talent pricks who sabotaged the entire season. How do ppl live like this
