Mobley is averaging a career high in assists, blocks, and steals. In an otherwise mildly disappointing season, he hasn’t missed a beat defensively.

His playmaking definitely improved. He often feeds Allen.
Something I noted against Philly: We ran a lot of the Mobley as a ballhandler/playmaker at the top of the key in the beginning of the year WITHOUT Allen. Evan shows more effectiveness driving when he has JA to set a good screen for him. I haven’t sent much of that this year but it was intriguing.
What’s impressive about the blocks is how much time he spends out on the perimeter guarding the other team’s best player.
He’s not just patrolling the paint the entire game with guards funnelling action his direction the way Gobert, Huff, and Chet are.
