I wanted Tucker but that’s about $20m a season more than I would have been comfortable with the Jays doing. I do think this raises, along with Bregman, the asking price for Bichette and Bellinger and I am hoping that Toronto avoids Bellinger.
Don’t the Dodgers pay 110% Luxury Tax too? What the fucking hell kinda deal is this.
A staggering deal that will likely cost us a season of baseball. There is no competitive balance in this league.
