  1. They constantly had a Defence giving them back the ball quickly.

However they did have a nice push up the middle for their run game which gave them some longer drives in the second half.

  2. Yeah the thing about the defense nobody mentions is how bad they beat an offense and how little the other team defense gets to rest. Steelers didn’t convert on like the first 10 first downs so that’s a big reason that second half run game was popping

  3. Anyone who actually watched the game knew, we literally were beating ourselves. Steelers were never close to our level of competition. We easily moved the chains when we wanted to especially in the run game where we were imposing our will. That’s why I’m not super concerned about the flukey turnovers especially if we can keep the efficiency… Our offense is getting hot.

  4. I don’t know which is more impressive, the offense with 408 yards, or the defense holding Pittsburgh to 175 yards.

  5. This team has dynastic potential IF and only IF the offense finally learns how to get out of it’s way.

We’ve had big improvements year over year, but it’s still not enough. Can we take that next step this offseason?

  6. The narrative is if CJ played like that against a better offense the result would be different. Every talking head says he had a pick and 5 fumbles as if he had 6 turnovers lol.

Ball security was bad not arguing that but 3rd down efficiency was great. Part of what kept the D fresh was 3rd down conversion. In the past we go 3 and out and the D is gassed at the end.

I look at it as CJ is more likely to not have 5 fumbles than he is likely too. If you get the rest of the stat line including one int I like us to win by double digits

  7. Yep. I’m willing to look past the fumbles tbh it’s not something he normally does. Every player has off days just don’t make it a habit.

  8. Without CJ’s fumbles, we could’ve easily scored 50+.

Its highly unlikely he has 5 fumbles again. I feel good.
